I'll just use a bluetooth keyboard I have. The AI button isa sales gimmick. A control key would do the same thing with one more click.

Samsung isn't making enough noise about the anti-reflective screen. It's such a game changer on the S24Ultra, because it significantly improves the viewing experience regardless of the lighting setting. It was the feature that made me upgrade from the S22Ultra, because after all, the screen is the primary interface through which you interact with your phone. Good that it's making its way onto tablets because the large screen will benefit greatly from it.

I realized I’ve seen my reflection on the S8/9 Ultra nearly every time I used them. Completely gone now on the S10 Ultra. Very impressed

The coating means a smudgy, greasy screen, and I am not sold on it, especially since I use my Ultra 100% at home. It would not be a positive for me and I see no reason to upgrade from the Tab S8 Ultra.

Mine, too. But I am really tempted. I work in the garden 6 months a year and use S8 Ultra also as the second screen. Since I switched to Galaxy Book4 Edge which also has this anti-reflective screen, I see the difference literally every second.

@@hellogoodbye219 My general tablet upgrade policy is every other upgrade. Tablet users don't need to automatically upgrade with every release. The AI features will be made available for the S9 and maybe the S8.The AI button on the keyboard is just a sales gimmick. A control key would work very nearly as well. The anti-glare is a big deal if you like to use your tablet outside, like in a park.

I've been contemplating upgrading my tablet for a few years since the S8 Ultra launched but never pulled the trigger because i don't use my tablet that much except for watching videos and doing some light office/productivity work. After watching 5 of these s10 Ultra Tablet videos i can say my s9 Ultra is still better if not equal to this. They haven't added ANYTHING worth upgrading for, I've had my s9 Ultra since February... no need to upgrade in less then a 9 month period. This project is for new buyers for Samsung Tablets. I would even say owners of an s8 Ultra don't need to upgrade yet. My s9 Ultra is on U.I. 6.1.1 is snappy and fast and is better then my iPad Pro M2, and I would bet it is better then the M4... by far....

Only major difference is the battery life. My S8 Ultra would get around 6 hours screen on time, S9 Ultra around 7-8, and S10 Ultra my first 2 battery cycles so far i got 8-9 hours

I've had my Tab S7+ since launch, it's been a wonderful Tablet for me but as someone who primarily uses it for Art and Media consumption (Netflix/Audiobooks/Manga) the ultra line with the Larger screen is really appealing, this one definitely doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from last year but I think this might finally be the year that I trade up

Samsung could be experimenting with mediatek to see if people are interested in it. Huge loss will be made if Samsung made all 3 sizes and nobody buys because of mediatek dimensity chipset.

Thanks Shane, just subscribed - I am on the point of getting the S9 Ultra, but still undecided with the S10 Ultra - it seems so close to the S10 Ultra that I can save some $ on the S9 Ultra. I am just worried about the reflections. I would love to see a comparison video S10U vs S9U, particularly both tablets outdoors to see the visibility differences in outdoor lighting. Thanks

I see there are some rumors that are not true. Turned out the Dimensity 9300+ chipset was true, but the two instead of one USB-C ports was not. I'm glad the expansion micro SD can now take another 500GB, up to 1.5 TB, over the 1 TB before. The anti-reflective screen is also a nice change. But, I think I'll wait with my Tab S9 Ultra to see what the Tab S11 Ultra might offer. The slightly better chipset performance is unexpected, but not compelling enough to trade-up yet.

Anti reflective display is a double edged thing...less reflections for less crispness...samsung should provide options for normal or anti reflective display so that customers can choose acc to their needs

They still have the Tab S9 Ultra on their website which is very similar to this S10 so if someone doesn't want the anti reflective then just get the S9. It should get some discounts which would make it the better buy if you don't care about anti reflective

Most mediocre update yet for the Samsung ultra tablet series. At least from S8 to S9 upped the screen specs somewhat, made it ip68 waterproof and gave new snapdragon processor.. ... This one just has new screen coating?? Just get a antiglare screen protector for the S9U and skip this...

You know that the new features are underwhelming when the anti-reflective coating is supposed to be THE reason to get it 😂 And then you remember that they switched to MTK (which is a terrible choice for emulation) and completely ignored the base S9. Apple probably shook them to the core when they dropped that M4 on the iPad Pro when this is all they can come up with in response.

Mainly high brightness all day and some use in the evening around 25%. 120hz refresh rate. You don’t have to jack up the brightness to full as much with the anti reflective display which is nice

I use multi tasking all the time and I want to know how the apps on the Android side handle resizing and do they often restart on resize? On my iPad, when I resize them, they just shrink/expand, but what about on Android? I've heard rumours that apps on Android side are not very well optimised for tablet layouts, so this is the main thing that is stopping me from giving a galaxy tab a try, since im looking for new tablet.

I too am waiting for a detailed technical review, with numerical measurements. Anecdotal evidence is the S10 is faster than the S9, but we'll never know if a Qualcom Gen 4 would have been faster still.

Any info on the PWM frequency of the display? If the Tab S10 Ultra has 480hz PWM frequency (like the s24 lineup and the z fold 6), that would be reason enough to upgrade for me, at least at some point.
