Everything I try to download the 1756 processor it says it can't be downloaded because it doesn't match the slot no matter what slot I put it into it won't work I'm really confused

The processor slot matters for communication purposes, make sure you double check that you are using the correct slot or counting the slot numbers correctly. I've never ran into that issue unless I made a mistake on slot numbers

Hi Shane, one thermocouple card in our AB Plc (1756-L71S) is faulty. Can you tell me the replacement procedure of the card? like what & how I have to change in the module properties after replacing the old card with new.

I would love to, if the card is the same then just replace it. The module properties are the same. If the card is different then it really depends on what type of card you are using so that answer depends on that.

I just depends on the chassis size or setup. Controllogix can handle large amount of I/O

@@ShaneWelcher If I use ethernet to connect multiple I/O modules on different chassis then what is the limit that I can go to? Is there any limit for that? Ignoring real world issues
