That must be such a cathartic experience: sharing a meal with a lifetime hero and his family, on his birthday, saying that it's all on you and the future of martial art movies is a natural consequence since you have the numbers. For anyone who doesn't know, Yuen Wah, Yuen Biao, Yuen Lou (Jackie Chan) and Yuen Lung (Sammo Hung) all studied under the same teacher, and Yuen Wah was considered the best student, dubbed the "flip king". He's also the stunt double for Bruce Lee in Enter the Dragon. Those names were all stage names given by their master. They aren't actually related.
@jp38132 жыл бұрын
There's also Yuen Kwai (Corey Yuen), who directed many Jet Li movies. Not sure if Yuen Woo-ping had the same teacher.

Yet 13 bedwetters that hate other people for achieving their goals have done it....it's so sad what people have become now a days and it has a lot to do with rewarding bad behaviour with attention to people who claim to know what being a victim and oppression is.

Haven't watched a movie in ages, but now knowing that we have Martial Club in the house, i actually feel compelled to watch Shang Chi. You guys are 100% the future of martial arts movies while also carrying the legacy and paying tribute to the HK kungfu movie styles. Been returning to your channel ever since learning about it during red bull kick it 2013 and amongst the high level trickers, eg. 3amigos, Vellu, you guys have always always integrated the wushu flavour that the rest left out and seemed more generic for. You guys also honed camerawork yourselves, which just about everyone else seemed to treat as an afterthought. Also wanna say that you guys shaped and sharpened each other and hope that these successes dont cause yall to drift from each other. And that Brian, I appreciate you for so often taking on the clownier characters (and your matt serra vibe) so that Andy and DMah could take on the cooler characters. Might wanna practice writing your hanzi names for autographs too, bc you guys are going to be worldwide.

To be totally honest, I believe as much as you believe Master Yuen gave you a great gift in inviting you to join him and his wife for lunch, you gave him equally as valuable a gift of showing him his life's works was still appreciated from the younger generation and that he left a legacy and love for martial arts in cinema. Bless you, Andy, for giving someone this cherished gift.
