You and britney have my whole hearted respect for all the cleaning u guys do of our beautiful oceans❤ It's crazy how much pollution one sunken boat contributes. Wow...my heart breaks for our oceans. Its truly inspiring to see u guys doing this. I wish I was even semi good at holding my breath but I have bad lungs so...i dont think i could do this without scuba gear coz I'd have to surface so much for air. The waters where I live are exceptionally cold as well...so...unfortunately to do what u do where I live just would take a lot more preparation and probably training as well...think it's probably a lot darker and murkier in our waters too, visibility might be difficult. (Pacific northwest, washington) :) good job you two! Your both hands down wonderful humans!

Those tiny pieces of fiberglass are what a fiberglass boat turns into after hitting the rocks/surf. I saw the wreck of a 28 foot sea swirl striper on the rocks outside of Ensenada harbor. The only thing that I could recognize as coming from a boat were the stainless steel railings. Everything else was smashed into 3-6 inch pieces.

Well, I'm fairly certain that's not the shorebreak at Waimea Bay. I bought a hammer with a fiberglass handle, One Time. That's all it took for me to get two splinters and toss that $30 hammer in the garbage. We used to put a car tire inner tube around bushel baskets with a length of cord & small 2lb dumbell plate for keeping our crabs in. But at bit larger truck tube & a shorter& wider container would be perfect for loading your finds & floating them to shore. It's been over 25yrs since I've been back to the North Shore, and since I won't be doing much surfing in that area anymore, I may have time to do some Island hopping this time. But since my friend is a photographer on the North Shore, & Mark Foo's sister always treated us so good & gave us the same affordable room right under his old bedroom, in the house he still lived in before he passed away. That part, along with the cool new friends from all over the World, I made every time we went back(especially those crazy assed Aussie Surfers, I always seemed to hit it off with). I had them watching the Daytona 500 with me @7:00 am on Sunday morning. They got to hooting & hollering for my driver & waking the other guests still sleeping.
