It's insane how different the people are! If there was another Grand Opening of a park in USA or California, people would be sitting in line a week ahead and it'd be a madhouse! I remember 24 hour day people were lined up at 11 am the day BEFORE holding spots in line it was nuts! Definately more like 48 hour day lol

Great video. I could feel the excitement!! But I have a question! I saw on this video that you had a printed barcode of your ticket. I bought a ticket for August and all I got was a confirmation number and a request to bring my government ID I used to purchase. I bought the ticket on the Shanghai Disneyland website from the USA. The instructions say that on the day of my visit, to bring the government ID I used to purchase along with the confirmation number directly to the turnstile. Is that the correct procedure? Without being send a printable barcode, I'm concerned I will have issues entering the park or delays at the front entrance. Any information any one could provide would be welcomed. Thank you.

I also ordered mine from the English page of the official Shanghai Disneyland website and the link to my barcode was in my confirmation email. My ID wasn't needed but I did see ID checks for guests who were showing items on their phone. You can also download the Shanghai Disneyland app and connect the account you made to purchase tickets to it and have you ticket digitally that will be redeemed for a paper ticket at the gate. +Thingamavlogs I just rechecked my confirmation email again and there is no link to a barcode. Just the confirmation number for my ticket purchase. Every time I try to retrieve the ticket after entering the confirmation number, it goes back to the same number and no barcode link. Very frustrating. I thank you for the help you provided. But it appears the email I received may have errors that prevent me from printing the barcode as there is no such attachment on it. I guess I have no choice but to deal with them directly. I just don't want to have issues at the door or have my park entry delayed for a mistake that was apparently their fault.
