@@HKMSIDC Ok, well I wonder why many Chinese/Hong Kong films throughout the 2000s decade look shaky and filmed, like it appears to be on 35mm/70mm film even though its in the digital film age. Also I know that some of the CGI looks dated, yet top-notch at the time. Here's good examples: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aGeyhqSKr9etrJI Lost on Journey was from 2010, and I see its filmed like older movies. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aYqYloSOfM6WlbM And All's Well, Ends Well 2009 is also filmed, and it looks more like it was made in the 90s too, well it works since the series started in that decade. I also know films like Master Q: Incredible Pet Detective (2003), My Name Is Fame (2006), Mr. 3 Minutes (2006), and more having this film effect. Though I must say I love the aesthetic! Its interesting that this lasted for a long while until like 2010. Thats why I love to watch the older logos more than the new ones, and i'm curious to know more about it. I also wonder if there are any more Asian animated films featuring this aesthetic...

Well I can only comment that HK's local CGI wasn't as sophisticated as those in the US, not even until the past decade as the changes are way too much. South Korea does much better I must admit - when you watch co-produced films like the Detective Dee franchise, most of the CG team comes from South Korea.
