Pirates of the Caribbean - Battle For The Sunken Treasure has a queue and early scenes similar to other versions of Disney Pirates around the world. Suddenly the ride changes to enormous scale and dramatic speed as you plunge into the underwater story. Your boat spins in swift undersea currents as Jack Sparrow and other pirates go into battle for treasure. It's an incredible ride!

We better start getting some rides as great as this whenever there's an attraction added into the American parks from now on. Like don't mess with the classic rides (unless it's small adjustments) and just update the ones that are already newer or add in a new ride completely. I know they're on the right track; the new Soarin video looks amazing!

The animatronics were really good in this attraction. I really like the one when Jack Sparrow was a skeleton then changed to looked like him. Updated technology for sure!

I like this one. I think what makes it better then the ones in the States is they got to have more freedom incorporating the elements from the movies. It's neat that you can be immersed in the ride instead of just riding by scenes.

Not really fair to compare. The OG pirates was the pinnacle of technology and detail at the time of creation. Wasn't that decades ago?

I kinda do too but, the ride in Disneyland was the real inspiration for the whole movie production and also one of the last rides Disney worked on and I would like to keep the classics instead of the new because it shows the inspiration of how it all got started. This is why Disneyland isn't really upgraded as much but I mean anything nom Classic could go but the classics should forever stay no matter what people say.

Guys, it's possible to go fly to China and visit Shanghai Disney. Why wait for Disney World and Land to upgrade?

Travel, especially internationally, is EXPENSIVE. Flights alone can cost hundreds, sometimes even thousands, of dollars. That's a lot of money that most people don't have.

Disneyland and Disney World will never "upgrade" to this, I guarantee you. Disneyland and Disney World's PotC rides are classics, they will not replace them.

Not thrilled to go even though I love Disney. When I went to the Hong Kong one I was assaulted, shoved around and cut in line by many mainland Chinese.

+PandaBaby51 i agree with that. I went to the Hong Kong Disneyland in 2011 and a little boy peed on my shoe and they were rude and pushed and cut in line. On top of that the park was nowhere near as amazing as the one in Orlando or California
