I last posted a year ago - but just wanted to say thank you again for making this track, and others, from the album available (esp to us vinyl owners). This album is in my top 3 - if not my number one. Huge thanks again from me, my bigger bro, and all the families - you've made me one very very very happy lady! :-) xx

This is an awesome track from an awesome album, and invokes such very fond memories of that time in my (young) life! Thank you!!!! I too have on (a much worn) vinyl, and have searched unsuccessfully to date in finding any other version. If you do get a chance to make the rest of the album available - you will be one of my heroes! Thank you again, Shirley

This a knock out track. Is this the same Cliff Bennet of Rebel Rousers fame on vocals. The band and record does not even rate a mention on his wikipedia entry which is very odd. Then again from listening to snippets elsewhere on the web this is quite an unusual mid 70s albums in many ways. Can someone upload some more tracks please as it deserves a bit more exposure?

Long overdue for a re-release of this on cd.Come on somebody there's money to be made. Dan C,it sounds harsh due to listening to music on a laptop etc with it all compressed, find a friend with the vinyl and then you will hear it as it was designed to be heard.

MrAnti7 any chance of you uploading the whole album? I too have the vinyl album and see it as one of the best albums I have ever owned. Does anyone know where a digital copy can be purchased? I have tried to leave a message for the archivist at Columbia records in the UK but he didn't call back.

A CD reissue would be worth it for this track alone. Any Movie makers out there looking for some theme music could do worse than check this out as it is a bit of a lost masterpiece. No wonder Cliff Bennett jacked in the music biz and went into the shipping industry when this failed to make the mark it deserved.

When 'Suicide Squad' comes out, this track will be huge as it is the title soundtrack song.

He was not Peter green's brother....Mick was in the Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, the Dakotas as well as many other well known bands, and sadly died on tour with Brian Ferry..

@@pjkinguk ,sadly Mick has passed but he was not on tour with Ferry at the time.He did suffer a heart attack , in I believe New Zealand , whilst touring with Bryan ferry but he recovered from that.A man sadly missed and a true originator.

thank you for correcting me....i thought otherwise.....and you are right....a true originator.

@@pjkinguk ,your welcome Patrick, thanks for taking my reply in the spirit that it was intended.I was a big fan of the Pirates, after Mick,Frank and Johnny had reformed the band back in '76 ish, and used to see them as often as I could. They were fantastic live and Mick green sounded like nobody else.Cheers.
