Loved the level crossing scene, with a goods train reversing over it. The L/C booms come down The train starts to reverse towards the camera. A three wheeler taxi whizzes though. And a bicycle. And another taxi. And a pedestrian. And another bi - no, I think I'll wait! 🙂 The rail bus approaches a Wickham troilley on the line. It comes nearer, the vehicle touch. Surely they are not going to propel that in front of them? Six gentlemen with flappy eared fur hats get on. A chinaman brandishes a key piece of wire. We are off ! No problems.... Lovely scenes !

@@JohnRaby I spent a week on the JingPeng line, and another at Chengde. The latter had the same all invading gloom and white mist emanating from 1000 stoves (and a steel plant...) My photographs are on Flickr, search 'Kruiskop', then albums, at the bottom.
