I would love to see something like this with a little dangling bead or two. I am trying to learn to make crochet earrings and bought stainless steel hooks but I'm allergic to most "metal" earring posts or hooks (when inserted but maybe will be fine on the surface) I need some tools to try to make wraps but I'd love to learn to make some that look almost like regular earrings. I typically use solid Sterling silver but I've also used silver plated wire from Parawire. Silver filled wire is also a really good choice because it lasts longer than silver plated and it's not as expensive as solid Sterling.

You can use either for this cuff because it's so small. If your wire is extra soft you can harden it a bit with a little hammering.

your instructions were so easy to follow! can anyone help me--i was able to do everything up until shaping the cuff on the mandrel. for some reason, by the end of all the shaping, my wire became tough and it was hard to wrap the cuff around the mandrel. even with the rubber mallet it won't shape to the mandrel. is there another way i can shape my wire to the mandrel when it's tough like this? :(
