I'm an experienced wire worker who thought making cuffs would be 'easy', and so, I didn't need to watch a tutorial! After two days, I have a lot of failed cuffs and sore ears from trying all of them on and attempting to shape them WHILE wearing! Thank you Shanna for creating this video! Its very clear, easy to understand and gives time to make notes while you work on the 2nd cuff -- THANK YOU!!!

Omg, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 🙏❤ I've had pierced ears since I was 12, but at 13, I was wearing hoop earrings and I took a sweater off. Ouch! They got caught and ripped one of the piercings. The only earrings I've ever cared for were simple diamond or pearl studs, but the hole became so large, they fall right through. Surgery to repair this has always been too expensive since it's not covered by insurance, and I've never been able to wear earrings since. I'm totally going to make these and wear them! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤🥰

Very nice job with your video! Would love to have seen you end it by actually placing each finished earring in the correct right/left ear. Also, I agree the gauge would’ve been helpful. 5 o’clock on St. Patrick’s Day 2023. Thanks again she’ll look for more of your work well done.

Since the curve is so small it stays pretty strong. You can use 20 gauge or 18 gauge. 18 would be the best

Thank you for these very thorough instructions. I just made a single one in Rose Gold colored copper and it turned out great! I did curve it for my left ear by mistake but found it looked just as good upside down on my right ear. LOL! 😄 This is the best tutorial I've seen for these but, meaning no offense, I'd like to point out for viewers who might not know the difference that you are using "round-nose" pliers. Needle nose pliers have longer jaws and are flat on the inside but I suppose they'd work just as well in a pinch OR depending on the design but your round-nose pliers are best for swirls. Again, thanks so much for sharing this 5-⭐ tutorial! I liked and subscribed.👍 😊

To straighten wire en mass. Simply pull it hard with one end in a vice and the other end in some good grippy pliers and make a twisting action back and forth. It will work harden the wire just as much as tapping and will make tyhe wire straighter for cutting
