Agreed! I haven't liked viewings, and it took me years to understand why. It's not at all because of the person who passed away, but it's because I don't want my last memory of that person to be after they've been embalmed and wearing things in ways they wouldn't have worn the same way when alive. I'll be asking for a closed casket funeral, if there is a casket.

100% agree. I’ve already arranged that. 77 and healthy but my time will come. No viewing for the same reasons. I’ve discussed it with my daughter. She’s a respiratory therapist and has a healthy attitude toward death so she made it easy. Keep being the strong and classy woman you are Shannon!

I remember in junior high writing a fan letter to Shannon Doherty. I got her address out of a book that had a bunch of address’s so people could send fan mail to their favorite movie star. A few weeks later I received a post card with her picture on it and she signed the back with a big heart. She has such beautiful handwriting. I wish I still had her autograph. I moved so much as a kid, I lost so many special things. Anyway, I love Shannon Doherty and I’ll never forget my postcard.

We came into this world alone with no audience and I want it to be the same when I leave. Only twins or multiples came with a companion. I don't want anyone watching me in that private moment. They can be at the facility in the waitng room to make arrangement for my body to be buried ASAP, no funerals either. My will states if my wishes weren't carried out they don't get their inheritance.

People must be aware that there is cause and effect in the Universe. If they get cancer, instead of going into panic mode they need to understand that cancer cells turn on and off. Chemo is what kills people more than cancer ever could, IMO. You can't poison yourself to good health. People are walking around functioning with Stage 4 cancers, go get "diagnosed" at the doctor's office and bam! Off to chemo and all of a sudden they have no hair like they were vacationing in Chernobyl. No appetite either. That means POISONING!!!!!! This is heartbreaking. I grew up watching Beverly Hills , 90210, never missed an episode. Without question, Brenda Walsh was my favorite character. I thought how beautiful this girl was and loved how sassy and unapologetic she was, I had posters of her and Dylan. I can't hear Chris Issaks Wicked Games without going to that scene of Brenda and Dylan parked at the beach, in his black Roadster, I believe it was. My heart goes out to her 💔

Back in 2014, I stopped breathing while asleep (sleep apnea), in fact I stopped breathing long enough to leave my body. I am being very serious. What was amazing was how alive and aware I was. This is not like a dream, it's more real than physical life, and if it hasn't happened to you then you won't fully appreciate what I am talking about. Since that experience, I now know for a fact that while our bodies die, we do not. We are all are eternal and indestructible souls traveling from human body to human body purely for the experience. Part of the game of being human, is forgetting who you really are.

Respect! She is absolutely right people only show up to funerals for all the wrong reasons. Its morbid! Be there for the person when they're alive not laying in a casket...I am glad my mother explicitly stated to my sister father and I she wanted no one at her funeral but her daughters grandchildren and husband. During her battle, the only people around her were her daughters grandchildren and husband. When she passed the calls, texts were never-ending asking for funeral information. And people were offended when we said it was a private funeral. So, good for Shannon for making this request!
