In all seriousness, I thought she’d died of a seizure, brought on by the mets in her brain, that were of course triggered by the cancer, She seemed so full of life and having listened to her podcast right up until the last one, I assumed she just suddenly collapsed and her body couldn’t take anymore, I’m actually kind of sad she didn’t go like that, she had to go slowly instead of go quickly and to some degree out of pain, Rest In Peace Shannen, you’ve been on my mind a lot the last couple of days, only became a fan in the last 12 months but you’ve shaped it in many ways, hope you’re in a better place now.

sounds like that last chemo dose did her in. my friend recently passed after a year long battle and the doctors said her last chemo dose "hit her like a battering ram". chemo is no joke..... it's poison, and at some point the body simply says "enough is enough". 😞

I have been thinking about this (while grieving & tears, as I am a fan & always will be). They said that Shannen was able to get her divorce filed (I guess there are various steps, as she has tried to get her divorce finalized for some time now) on July 12th, which is one day before she passed away. To me, that means that she was probably still coherent & was still able to think clearly, as of July 12th. While only her family & close friends know all the exact details of what had happened in the last few days (the time span between the last podcasts episodes she had recorded, to her death), it seems to me that it is only within the last day or so, that her body really caved in. It could have been a seizure, or something else in the last 24 hours. I am guessing what her doctor meant when he talked about Shannen's wanting to keep on with the treatments, was from her last round of chemo, which she had talked about in her podcast, although the time-line is a bit odd within this recording, but that could be for protecting her privacy of what had happened in her last 24 hours. Just my guess & thoughts.
