This extended version I remember sooooo well. I had the tape and this was on the b side ( last song on the album) I jammed this version more than the original cause I'm a fan of the extended remixes. Shannon is the black queen of dance jams. What I really love about these songs are the lyrics; so simple and full of hopes and dreams with a simplistic quality to them like songs of the 50's. My dad would bring home 45's that were new demo songs the production companies sent to most radio stations to wait a reply on how well our town responded to it..this was one of them my sister and I got to listen to before the public got to hear it.,we were dancing our butts off and playing this song over and over.,gave my dad a thumbs up so he played it on the air and the phone lines rang off the hook all month from people requesting it..still love it!..
