Love your backwall, especially seeing Black Celebration up there so prominently displayed. Thank the algorithm for popping your video into my feed today ;) We could definitely be music buddies.

GTA would have been 14 years later than this song and now this song is about almost 34 year's old. React to their song Jane Says please.

.. Jane's Addiction is another band that pretty much slipped past me, as have many artists in the period from late 80s onwards .. So I don't know their work very well, but this song sounds familiar .. I quite like it, with its kind of punk / pop feel and the distinctive phrasing of the vocals .. And how appropriate that a song about stealing was included in Grand Theft Auto ! 🤣

Hahaha omg, Wayne! I didn't even think about the song and GTA in that way...you are so right. I just never made that connection when I said it...you were one step ahead of me my friend. I do like them. I don't know tons of their stuff but they used to play them a lot when I was at the clubs in the late 80 and early 90s...always cool to dance to with that funky punky beat 🥰💜

Great Band , great choice Funny you mentioned RHCP in middle as Dave Navarro played for both and Flea play bass for Janes Addiction for a short time when they reunited Perry Ferrell started Lollapalooza in 1991 and so revived the modern day rock festival Perry has a great voice maybe hard to hear on this track but Perry sang Got To Get You In To My Life on an album called the Art of McCartney If you like Paul this is an awesome album Perry is one of the highlights as is Alice Cooper singing Eleanor Rigby If you like cover versions check it out

Hey Jesse, I had no idea! How cool is that....no clue they were in both. I had never been to lollapalooza but I bet it would have been cool. Did you go to any of them? 😎💜

Never went to lollapalooza Early years it was held in NYC just never made it Missed some classic line ups Even back then i had an aversion for Big Concert events Early nineties i spent in legendary clubs Maxwells in Hoboken CBGB in NYC And Bars with greatest juke boxes I think back the Village Voice had best of NYC issue Best jukebox was one of the categories That was an award worth winning I think Downtown Beirut won a few times

@jessem470 oh how I would have loved to go to CBGB. I have seen where it was. The awning was still there when I saw...looked a little worse for wear but it was hanging. It isn't there anymore I don't think 🧡

No its gone now Its still has a similar awning but its a John Varvatos store John is a designer very much ensconced in rock and roll world and there are still elements of the club inside Its sells very rock and roll clothes to the stars
