Nice shave Jmac! Your gold 500 is a beauty! 😀👌 I agree, the Schick injectors do well on a couple days of growth. I find my Schick J-1 isn't as comfortable as a daily driver but on 2 or 3 days of growth, it feels very smooth 🙂👍 Have a good Sunday! Steve

Thanks Steve! It’s certainly a looker of a razor, I got lucky to find one in mint condition. Your razor is in the same series as mine, so makes perfect sense how you get better shaves on a few days growth as well, as great as this razor is, I can’t daily drive it either. As a lover of music, I have to say that a musician can't really fake music if they don't feel a connection to it. It would just come across as flat. This is why musicians who have in their sould really stand out and provoke such reactions as goosebumps, or like in me, the old lump in the throat.

He’s a monster player… I’ve spent 3 hours today at half speed playback learning his opening licks to his first solo… he has great feel, and now I have some new tricks and actually learned some stuff I can incorporate into my own improvisation.

I like my shaves how the feel after multiple days growth too. Yeah, I use extra F-Black splash. It really helps.

What a GREAT shave brother! I'm a fan of letting the face fuzz grow longer too. I always tend to have better shaves with at lease 3 days of growth. And those Schick Injectors are no joke. A fantastic razor. I'm a big of the thicker blades too

Great shave Justin! It’s a shame F Black Got discontinued. The wet shaving community seems to be where discontinued designer fragrances go to die 😅. We are constantly carrying forward scents that get axed. Glad to see the guitar project is going well. I’m in need of a second hobby myself, some days I have a bit too much time on my hands. Take care now!

Thanks Ben! Yeah, that’s the one great thing about the hobby is we get to enjoy these discontinued scents, and when they are done right, it’s just as good as having the real thing! The guitar turned out great, looks awesome, plays and feels great, I couldn’t ask for a better outcome. Having too much time on your hands is never good, you definitely could use another hobby, time to grab a guitar I reckon!
