Sterling and Hines Ward are two guys that should absolutely be in the Hall of Fame
@ATFjamesАй бұрын
Sterling will get in the hall of fame. He is a bonified hall of famer. He was one of the 10 best wide receivers of all time! His impact was insane! Look it up for crying out loud!
@TheLOD2099Ай бұрын
If he doesn’t get hurt, he gets into the HoF, no question.
@jwells1914Ай бұрын
Sterling deserves so much better. Jerry Rice is the goat WR no doubt but Sterling was putting up Jerry Rice level stats and everyone old enough to remember knows Sterling was just as feared. That man should have been in the HOF.
@CynshamАй бұрын
Sterling Sharpe was on track to become one of the all time greats before that injury cut his career short. During the 7 seasons he played, Sterling was 2nd only to prime Jerry Rice in total receiving yards, receptions, and touchdowns.
@penvzilaАй бұрын
If an offensive lineman can be in the Hall of Fame with a 7-year career than a triple crown receiver can be in the Hall of Fame with the seven year career. It really doesn't make sense that he's not in.

Loved watching Sterling. Great hands. Definitely should be in HOF
@jjuninc77Ай бұрын
I'm a niners fan, a Jerry fan, but Sterling Sharpe was putting up better numbers during Jerry's prime.... I hated to admit this back in the day but he was that dude.

I'm a lifelong Lions fan. My first game was 1993 playoffs lions vs packers, Barry comes back from his thanksgiving day knee injury to rush for 169 yds rushing only to lose by a favre to sharpe last minute td. I believe if Calvin Johnson and Terell Davis are in, then Sterling should be in without question.

Sterling is the only player I can say was neck and neck with Jerry for the title of best receiver of his era

If Gayle Sayers can get into tha HOF after only playing 6yrs there's no way Sterling Sharp shouldn't be in there (Side Note) Its a lot of ppl who Should Not be there especially before Sterling

Sterling was a monster, and it's unfortunate what happened.

Lynn Swan played 9yrs , never eclipsed a 1,000 yard season , got 336 receptions , 5,462 receiving yards & 51 TD's & he got in the HOF.

I call bull jive!! 😂😂 Im using that now. Aye sharp is on point pun intended lol
If the Hall was really on that type of time, they would induct both Eli & Sterling to try to mend the obvious. But let it happen Oshay, the plot thickens for all of us. More wood to throw in ol faithful.

As a Lions fan I always hated Sterling (when he played the Lions especially) but I always thought he was great. He should be in the hall. Lack of longevity shouldn't be held against him. What's crazy is that he isn't there but we all know Eli Manning is going in (even though he shouldn't. Yeah, Eli won 2 Super Bowls against the Patriots and is the all time Giants passing leader. But he is 117-177 all-time, he's the passing leader because he stuck around too long. Eli was Nevada top 1/5 or maybe even 10 QB. If you've never been top 5 at any point in your career you shouldn't be (considered)in the hall of fame. You can make a strong argument that Sterling was the best side wreck ever for at least half a decade.

I honestly think Sterling Sharpe was well on his way to be considered one of the best NFL WR in the history of the NFL before his injury. Look up that dudes stats and what he was doing. Thats when they didnt even pass as much. His last year in the NFL was great and at the end of that season he hurt his neck and never came back. He should be in the Hall of Fame. Not just the Packers HOF I am talking about in Canton. That man was a fuckin beast and not alot of people know about him and its ashame. He was before my time but i did my research on him a few years ago and I was shocked. I am a lifelong Packers fan too. That dude was getting TDs like a mothafucka!!! no exaggeration he was a monster. He only played like 6 years or something. Its ashame. He aint a loud person either who wants a buncha attention otherwise I think more people would be aware of him. I know Packers fans know the deal.

Put Sterling in the fuckin HOF!!!!

As far as brothers getting in the HOF....Eli Manning will always hold a special place in my heart because he beat Brady twice in the Super Bowl but I don't think he should get in the HOF. He played like in those 2 SBs but you need more than that. Sterling Sharpe should be in though.
@dandrewilson1995Ай бұрын
lol I call bull jive😂
@chadog900Ай бұрын
Love Unc going on the pods to big up his brothers candidacy, but he needs to hit more points: 1) The Gale Sayers and Terrell Davis (his own teammate) 2) Sterling broke his neck, was told to hang it up, came back next week and caught 3 TDs to get the Pack in the playoffs. 3) Sterling didn't play with Montana, Young, heck even Jeff Garcia like Jerry did (no disrespect to the GOAT). Context matters to wake these goofy voters up.

WOAH PATNAA. Pump the brakes on that Bull Crap. Shannon Sharpe held all the TE reception records when he retired. Yards. Catches. And Touchdowns. You better RECOGNIZE. If anything Eli should not be going into the Hall. Eli helped beat the Patriots twice in Superbowls. What other record did he set ?.
@savvymanX30Ай бұрын
@72Dexter72Manley72 sterling should have went before super flamer shay shay. Holding a TE record when you were the only option in a sub par offense versus being the man every team schemed for.. Patnaa, I assume that's "partner" in public education speech. Slow yo troll and quit glazing Shay shay.

@savvymanX30 It's PATNAAA for your Bull Crap talking self. So you're trying to tell me. Broncos. Rod Smith was trash. Ed Mcafree was trash. Terrell Davis was trash. Ravens Todd Heap Jermaine Lewis Quadry Ismail And. Random Stokley. Sam Gash Terry Allen All of those players were not legit targets ??. Stop it with your Uneducated Takes. You not liking Shannon is one thing. But set that CRACK PIPE DOWN. PATNAAAAA. 😂🤣😂🤣

@@savvymanX30 Lol, How about looking up stats and knowing what the hell you are talking about before posting weak comments PATNAAAAA. Let's see which receivers Shannon played with on his two teams. Broncos. Rod Smith is trash according to you. Terrell Davis is trash according to you. Ed Macferee is trash according to you. Ravens. Jermaine Lewis is trash according to you. Todd Heap is trash according to you. Qadry Ismail is trash according to you. TE's in Shannon's era. He beat Tony Gazalez in stats every year from 1992-1999. Ben Coates. Jay Novecek also. But he wasn't any good according to you.
