Aaron Rodgers and Dan Marino are on a tier by themselves. Aaron is probably the best passer in league history. Go watch some throwing highlights from the 2011 season. He made all the off platform throws that made Mahomes famous with the precision and timing of Marino. At 40 he won't be able to sustain that high level for the whole seasons but he will give us many, many more highlights. I hope he stays healthy.

It was cause Rodgers got McCarthy fired, then when he got the coach he wanted, he still couldn't win the NFCC. Then came the 2020 season when Tampa (with Brady) beat Green Bay in the NFCC despite Green Bay having a 9-minute advantage in time of possession. Rodgers couldn't get it done yet again. The Packers drafted Love because Rodgers was talking retirement. At the time, Rodgers said retirement was something he thought about. Then in the 2021 season, Rodgers was throwing hissy fits all because the Packers drafted Jordan Love. The Packers ended up getting the #1 seed and they lost in their first playoff game with Rodgers scoring no points at all. Rodgers was talking retirement again, and he kept flip flopping on whether he'd keep playing, which led to Davante leaving to Vegas. Shannon finally realized Rodgers was not that guy. He couldn't deliver in the big games and he was being a bad leader. The COVID thing was just another issue, but really the issues were Rodgers blaming others, complaining about Love, constantly talking retirement, and not taking accountability.
