That's NOT a knock on Lamar at all. The great players (Lamar IS a great player) ALL have to have a LOT of confidence in their ability to make plays. They have to be willing to push themselves and take some chances,which is one of the things that makes them great. Imagine if Mahomes never tried to make some of the insane plays he's made? The same is true for Lamar Jackson, Josh Allen, and every other great player we have ever seen. Lamar and Mahomes are both humble guys who are VERY likeable, and they both make plays because they fully believe in their own abilities to make those plays.
