How about Sharpe's statement was 100% true. Farve did "steal" that money.According to Merriam Webster, steal means "to take or appropriate without right or leave and with intent to keep or make use of wrongfully." Farve has admitted that it was wrong of him to take that money when he returned it. "Steal" does not mean against state law. A person should be able to steal without breaking a law, e.g., shoplifters in San Francisco as one example. Just because something is not a crime, does not mean that something wasn't stolen.
