Great....you know Polkas! My father came from Scartaglen. I've been up on Maol a few times, though my family back there pronounces it Mwhale.

Maol's in Kerry, right? Though not easy to search online. There's also Caisteal Maol, which is a ruined castle near the harbor on the Isle of Skye.

Also, maol means bare or bald in Irish...
