Porque ella basicamente no cree mucho en los premios, hay entrevistas de los años 80 donde lo dice. Lo q ella recibe con este premio es el amor y el reconocimiento por su laburo, de sus colegas. Es una persona que genera bienestar a su alrededor, es notorio.

Meryl really deserved this award but especially that Oscar and she didn't get it , DAMN IT !! I can think of about 4 roles that should have gotten the Oscar for Meryl but hopefully the academy will do the right thing and give it to her for The Iron Lady ...xoxo
