I too love the turquoise and brown combination, those are some of the main colors in my home; so easy to add other colors to them like the different shades of beiges, creams, and whites! Hello there. I am a new subby. I am very happy to have come upon your Chanel today. I much enjoyed your video. I’m watching on tv, and taking notes as I am going to create these cards and put one in my reference journal. What fun. I am going to have a look today at your previous videos as these are such amazing artistic inspirational pieces. I love to have different pieces in my journal such as ephemera- tag - a book mark, or something such as this. My mind is already full of ideas for this piece. It could be a post card for a pen friend. Or cut up to use as tags!! However , today I might score it and use as a pocket on the very front cover of an art journal I’m creating for a friend to put stickers , a tag and a perhaps some other pieces of another one of the index cards that I’ve sewn random fabrics together using slow stitch and then adhered to the card. I adore using index cards for many reasons but, the # 1 is they are small- white- non intimidating-pieces to create some very special “one of a kind pieces of art “ to send to my pen friends I have all over the world that I met on line in my groups while in quarantine. Jerusalem- France- Finland- Germany Ireland England, Italy and Australia to name a few. 1. They cost pennies to send. And they are very easy to Mail. I love to get my “index card art” as they do as well. We put the “process” in which it was created on the back and sign them. I now have many wonderful inspirational artistic ideas for my reference journal that is specifically for these items - my “Pen Friends Art inspiration reference journal” I wish I could share it with you. It is actually abundantly filled with many many pieces some of which are very intricate and took the artist the entire month to create. These are especially important to me as I do sometimes get creative block. When that happens I get out first an index card and it becomes my very best place to begin again. After 1 or two my mind is reeling once again with ideas full of joy. I would very much enjoy having one of your “one of a kind” incredible inspirational artistic creations for my “pen friend inspiration journal” if I happen to be chosen, I would really appreciate you signing it for me. I’m bing watching your videos 😁 it’s raining here in the Blue Mountains and we’re in Lockdown too. I just, a few days ago, bought a pack of blank and a pack of lined index cards. I like the lined ones because I can send them as postcards to friends. I’ve also been dropping a and index card with a nice message in people’s letterboxes on my daily walk to give encouragement during the Lockdown. So…..
