So many creators muddy up their channel not only with distracting music (and I’m a huge music lover - just not here) but also with endless chatter and meaningless babble complete with ridiculous sound effects and annoying sing-song phrases. They lose my subscription immediately because of it - we’re all adults for the most part and when the “teacher” sounds childish, it’s hard to give them your attention, talented or not. You show your audience respect when you treat us as you do and we can then focus on the BEAUTIFUL work and process you’re generously trying to share. Treat me like a fool and I’m gone and it’s too bad because some have some very pretty journals. Disorganization is another issue, another category you rock it in. Thank you for sharing your art in the way you do and NOW I will hit a “like” AND subscribe!👏👏👏

What thickness of copy paper do you use. I bought the HP premium 32. I love the edges when it tears. It also takes the coffee and tea well. I'm just curious if there is a reason I dont see others using it? No one ever says the thickness of the copy paper they're using. Does it matter over'time?
@shellyp8731 Жыл бұрын
Great questions! I always wonder this too. It also makes it difficult because the USA usually denotes paper weight in pounds, while other countries denote paper weight by “gsm” so it’s hard to figure out the equivalent. Any advice on this would be so helpful! ☺️
@ShanoukiArt Жыл бұрын
Hi, I use regular copy paper, in Australia it is 80gsm and I have just done a google conversion which comes to 5grams (not sure if the is correct). I prefer it to thicker paper as it is easier to fold and sew into the book. I have never had an issue using this thickness. Hope this helps 🤗💖 in my first video of this serious I explain a bit about the papers I use 😀

I have a question… is there anything in these junk journals that are personal or are they always just made to appear like someone’s old collection of letters, note cards, dried flowers, and pictures? I guess I just mean is there a purpose for them or are they just for decor? I’m sorry of this is a foolish question. I was just at an antique store and seen one for the first time. It was beautiful ( not as beautiful as yours though) but I wondered.. “ what is it and what’s it for?”
@ShanoukiArt5 ай бұрын
I think different people use them for different things, some use them as actual journals, where they journal everyday, others use them as scrapbooks or memory keeps and add photos, others use them as sketchbooks or art journals, and others just keep them as something pretty. It really is open to what ever the person wants to use it for 🥰
@patriciawalker9470 Жыл бұрын
I have loved watching all 4 parts of this amazing junk journal!! ❤ You make it all look so easy, but I know it is NOT 😂 Always love your style of decorating. One quick question: do you ever have any issues with the clear Elmers glue wrinkling your paper? It’s much cheaper than some other glues, but I didn’t think it would work very well! 🤷🏻♀️ Keep making you awesome videos 🥰
@ShanoukiArt Жыл бұрын
Thank you so much 🤗💖 the glue does leave a little bit of a wrinkle but because the paper is coffee stained it is already a bit wrinkled so you don’t notice it. I think using it on a smooth white copy paper it would be more visible. Something I need to test I think 🤗💖
