Calendar usually have such beautiful images. They also often have nice poems 0r quotes, or sayings we can include in our art. I like to buy old ones from previous years, at new year. And they are super cute after that year is over. I buy old planners too. They make great journaling pages and backs for tags & journaling cards. And it's hard to beat a cheap buy. Total happiness. Your pages are beautiful. It's great for us newbies to be reminded of techniques, and especially that we can collage over pages we arent happy with. I often forget the most obvious ideas in artwork. Because I'm new to all this. I appreciate how you explain your process. Why you are doing WHAT you are doing,...and WHY! I learn so much from your videos. And you are a GREAT TEACHER!!! I just love how you have used magazine images and blended them in with your background. They look as if they belong on your art journal page and not in a magazine. Using the gold added enough bling to gladden my heart. I am so sorry I threw my calendar with interesting images away when I moved 6 months ago. I never know how to use those images. Ah well, you really cannot hoard everything for too long.

This is so pretty! The way your blended the fairy and window pages in was amazing! I was happy you didn't use the die cuts or stickers, whatever they were, of the leaves. You probably would have made it look nice but when you did the leaves stencils... perfection! Thank you so much for sharing!

It does a bit and I put a little bit of baby powder on my hand and rub over the pages lightly. Hope that helps 😌
