Everybody talking about the main game's boss fight and Friends to the End, but honestly I liked Shantae being the final boss the most just because of the role reversal, and seeing how she fights when not constricted by being player-controlled, even if it's practically just Nega-Shantae. Completing Pirate Queen's Quest is also the worst I've ever felt defeating a final boss lmao

At first, I thought the Tinkerbrain just brought up the generators after set amounts of time. When that wasn't the case, I was trying to hit the gears he threw into the generators thinking that was how I got them to come up. I never would have guessed I had to charge the screws.

I had to spend almost 30 minutes at the first phase because idk what i was supposed to do, sounds out you only have to move to one direction at some time to hit the things, glad discovered that out later, because i would be stuck there for like 2 hours.

The whole fiasco Risky Boots pulled this time was a shocker and this was a new low standard and more scum and villainy even for her, considering all the adventures that she had with Shantae and her character development in the Pirate's Curse.

Honestly, it feels like this game just tried to forget that Pirate's Curse ever happened. Which is disappointing, since Pirate's Curse was easily the best in the series as far as gameplay goes. Like, I was expecting the entire time that Risky's motives were more nuanced than just "EVILULZ!", but then they weren't. Tremendous disappointment.

I haven't played Pirates Curse, but I remember watching that she developed more respect and friendship with Shantae even after the Pirate King was defeated. However in this, she was literally attempting to corrupt all the genies and unintentionally forcing Shantae to basically kill all the genies, potentially including Shantae's own mother in the process. They could have at least given Risky a moment to react with concern and point out she didn't expect or intend for Shantae to be willing to sacrifice the genies to save everyone. It all could have ended in tragedy if it weren't for the good ending.

Keep in mind that Risky was totally fine with selling out Shantae to the Pirate Master when he revived. Risky herself says that she's not cut out to be a good guy just how Shantae isn't cut out to be a ruthless cutthroat.

Alright, I love HGH, but let’s agree that the final boss would’ve really look amazing on the concept art since it is supposedly the genie realm. Yet... in the official one, it’s just.... a round platform. I mean, the colors, the way the genies looked, that’s amazing. However, I believe it would’ve looked better if it had more mythical or figures to create that astonishment. Doesn’t feel right to see it as a galaxy donut.

I was disappointed with 1/2 Genie Heros' final boss. yes the theme is amazing and well made, but between all the games with facing Risky, Dark-Shantae, and the Pirate King, it was a bit disappointing to have the final battle against a goofy looking robotic brain. just my opinion

Shoulda been just dark energy or something, didn't even have to be a different pattern, like lighting skipping up and down the path would have felt more "Finale" like

I am utterly triggered by Tinkerbrain. After what I experienced against the Star Dream Soul OS (Kirby) and its kickass Techno-Robotic remix of "Heart of Nova", this feels like such an anticlimatic fight. Especially with the Infinite Bubble Shield.
