This is the best version of mor kulLambu! Adding curd and tadka after switching the gas off is definitely better way than mixing it all together on the gas to bring it to a boil. I will do it your way now onwards. 👍 The chana daal is a wonderful twist! Its taste I can instantly guess, because in Kadhi (Marathi and Gujarathi buttermilk kulambu) we add a spoonful of besan i.e. chana daal powder to the buttermilk and add it to ghee taaLippu (ghee + jeera + perangayam + green chillis + 2/3 cloves + 1 small stick of pattai).
