I'm researching kung fu trying to learn it and how it works. The difference between different styles. I'm wondering if you can explain the difference between Shaolin's five animals and Hung Gar's Five animals? Are they the same style of not?

All five animal forms come from the Shaolin temple

This version is very good, and if you are near this school, you should go to it. The Hung Gar version is also very good. They have the same animals, but it has a different focus. I prefer this one myself, although I'm only a spectator. Either one is a great choice. As OP said, all versions of 5 Animals come from the Shaolin Temple. The original creator was named Bai Yu Feng. There are many difference animal styles. We teach 15 different animals styles in the Choy Li Fut Kung fu.

You'd be better off learning this form from Dino Salvatera my sifu or Doc Fai Wong. Neil is doing some very strange moments in this form. and THERE IS NO OTHER VERSION OF THIS FORM UNLESS IT WAS CREATED BY NEIL

Hi Frank, what do you mean? Niel learn this from Doc-Fai Wong on many occasions over years of learning. Doc-Fai Wong has this form on DVD and if you watch it you will see its the same. I can't comment on Dino, never seen is stuff.

M problem is TWO THINGS. First, he put out the entire form for anyone to learn. Even Doc Fai Wong doesn't want the entire form on there, i know because i spoke to him. Second, is Neil LYING about this are two versions of this form, one secret and one taught to the normal students. THAT IS COMPLETE BULLSHIT WITH INTENTION TO LIE TO POTENTIAL STUDENTS. @@LohanMartialArts

No thanks. After 40 years of CLF study, I can include my own "EXTRA" hand techniques in any form i chose to. But i will not MISLABLE them as "Secret". There isn't anything secret in kung fu. Claiming something as "SECRET" when others have the same form makes YOU GUYS LOOK BAD. @@LohanMartialArts

I hope you understand that nothing Extra has been added that DFW didn't teach in the secret variation. Nothing is MISLABELLED.
