My work out staff is much bigger and heavier than this flimsy stick, I use a piece of oak dowel, or 3/4 inch iron conduit filled with sand that way when I switch to a form bo it seems light as a feather and my natural speed is much greater. Thank you for showing me a few things that I was doing wrong or fumbling over. Usually I incorporate sidekicks and front kicks into my form. Thank you for posting this being form.

Bo implies that your Kung Fu is Japanese based? It would be better to call it a Cudgel as Bo is a Japanese word. A cudgel is made of a wax wood sapling. They are very specific to the Chinese, Shaolin monks.
