I have the upmost respect for Shaolin monks. Their dedication and sacrifice for perfection is mind-blowing!!! I grew up being a huge Bruce Lee fan in the early to mid 80's. If it weren't for him and his movies about Kung Fu I don't believe I would have ever had the knowledge and respect that I do today, for these special monks.
@jeremywinston71993 жыл бұрын
@@legolam4271 ur missing the point!! They are extremely disciplined in Kung Fu etc and whether or not they are authentic is ridiculous. It's the discipline and the extreme training that they are in constant preparation. So I don't understand ur comment in that there hasn't been an authentic shoalin monk warrior since the 60's. Whether or not they have actually fought has left to be seen but it does bring up the history behind these special monks in that they trained in case of an attack. They were the first line of defense against invaders.

I was thinking something, so many martial artists are so lucky to see all secrets reveald in these videos of shaolin, a treasure like no else, an di know they will see so many things even in simple moves which no experienced eye will not. Still, did they steal anything? I dont thinks so, i mean, something valuable exists in the peace you find in meditation and beliefs you nurish, but for that you gota be a good person and poses good spiritual values.

@@kedarwilku7442 yeah. You’re talking about Qi gong. Yes qi gong does help with healing. And it can reduce a fever especially the stress of the body (both mentally and physically) qi gong can take away chills and the regulating can help bring down a fever. Qi gong IS Healing. But it’s not Medicine. It’s more similar to physical therapy. I’m not an expert but I do have some years practicing some of the exercises from soft martial arts. But you always have to take what people tell you about it with a grain of salt. And if you wanna learn this...anyone who tells you you’re learning “secrets” and their not joking. DONT learn from them. There’s no secrets just a LOT of time and a lot of work

@@tule8669 These people can't fight. Their way of fighting is "primitive" to say at least in a bad way. Look at Muay Thai for a complete stand-up fighting system. Sanda fighters can fight but still haven't watched the most advanced of Muay Thai fighters lose to Sanda fighters. Look what Muay Thai utilizes, the 8-9 limbs: (Head) formely, knees, shins, elbows, punches and etc. Plus it has clinch fighting too that is like another martial art on itself. The main problem with Muay Thai is that many fighters look anorexic. I am not saying all the Chinese martial arts are useless, there is definitely something effective to teach there but they weren't originally meant for military and war with those kiddie slaps and pushes. They were meant to follow pacifist's notions of not harming the opponent much. Muay Thai is seriously a deadly weapon.
