@@magicalchicken6249 It also takes vague inspiration from the Boxer Rebellion, when a bunch of Chinese monks lead a peasant uprising against the Chinese Military (who at the time was being equipped and trained by western nations) and almost defeated them several times, this, coupled with the fact that the boxers were killing basically all Christians they came across lead many western nations to directly intervene by invading China to stop the Boxers.
