I love seeing meals like this from start till finish. Seeing the beautiful hillside and lush gardens, with the water rushing through the rocks, gives me a real idea of the area you live in. It's just lovely. It's nice to see your husband too. Your children are adorable, and I love how they want to help. Thank you for the English subtitles!!!!

This is how food should be made wholesome and fresh it brings families together at the table and tastes a lot better than some products we getting now days. ABOUT THE FEET! The feet are washed. They are clean. It is not in any way less "sanitary" than using one's hands, and you aren't complaining about 99% of chefs on KZbin not using gloves. I'm also ready to bet you aren't using gloves or hairnet when you prepare your food. Feet have brevibacteria that help with the fermentation. This method is being used in wine making, sourdough bread making and other kinds of food fermentation, all over the world. Brevibacteria breaks down things in the food to make it easier to digest, and they produce glutamic acids, which enhance the flavors of the food. That he tramples the cabbage makes it better, not worse. It's not disgusting, it's ingenious.

Why is everyone saying his feet are dirty??? He clearly rinses them in something and its probably alcohol. All I see otherwise is tan lines on his feet 🤷

雪里蕻是腌起来好吃,肉丝炒腌的雪里蕻煮米粉加个荷包蛋青菜很好吃,又或者雪里蕻炒肉丝豆干配白饭很好吃。或者炒腊肉和腊肠加入豆干都很好吃.

His feet is dirty?? Does the video tell everything? He maybe have washed his feet with soap first then sterilized again in the basin full of rice liquor? Why judge people by limited information? They are the one consuming the food. They know what they are doing.

@@yvonmouamoua1150 They are making fermented pickles, the pounding pulls the water out of the vegetable and mixes with the salt to make brine. In this brine bad microorganisms cannot live but good lactic acid bacteria grow and that preserves the vegetable. When making these kinds of fermented foods you want to be careful to keep the risk of bad bacteria low so obviously his feet were not dirty. Using feet to pound or using hands it's no difference, except legs are stronger!

Your videos are great and inspiring. What do you think by washing the veggies in the river, the water may look clear and clean, but there are ducks and swans too. What if there are parasites? Or polluted with fertilizers? You got clean water at home to wash. And I think it will be more hygienic if your husband wrapped up his feet with plastic before smashing the veggies.

In my country - the Czech Republic- cabbage before fermenting used to be also pressed with feet by young girls or woman. Same process same way thousands of miles away. So there must be the reason why it is done this way. Probably better control that there are not any it pockets and fermentation will be safe.

我們家是用芥菜,一般是鋪在地上或用大盆子踩完再放甕裡,一開始先當酸菜吃,吃不完的曬乾捲成一綑綁緊,放一段時間等顏色變深再拿來蒸肉

老實的小莉紮實的梅乾扣肉、唯一不同的是我們醃小缸用石頭壓、梅乾炒香 一片肉一撮梅乾排列好再蒸!因為我們家小戶小容不下大缸!(料理大同小異)🤣🤣💕

傳統製作都是用腳踩,腳洗過之後其實都是很乾浄的,就像我們的手不也是東摸西摸的嗎?洗乾淨就好了,不過既然現在都有塑膠袋可以使用,不妨試試也是讓人感到衞生,這白菜醃漬時塩放的也挺多的,若是稱重過再依比例放塩,就不至於太鹹而且能保有菜乾天然的酸香味

Washing foods downstream from where geese swim... That's so dangerous! Water fowl poo in their baths like crazy, and that's going directly onto your food. I would wash upstream, or otherwise clean your water if you can.

One thing i noticed that she doesn't use that much of spices and red chillies like other Chinese uses for their food videos.... I really appreciate that she doesn't use that much of spices and chillies cause I'm also not a spices person n prefer simple homemade meal 😊
