MathSEE Method Area 3 dealing with inverse problems and optimization tackles many research challenges on the interface of mathematics and sciences, economics and engineering. In this video we showcase a typical MathSEE problem featuring maximization of electromagnetic chirality by optimizing shapes of microscopic objects.
