I love your products, so far, they are the best Photographic gear i've had, so great to work with, i ve been using the Airport takeoff or the SShifter v1, and i've been waiting for that new version. GOOD : - 2 sizes - the straps, still the most confortable on the planet !!!

Hoping to see version 3.0 by now. I’ve had the v1 since it came out. Some of the stitching is coming off in the inside. Still a beast of a bag imho. The strap accessories is a genius addition along with the pro belt system. Though I had to cut off the original belt that came with v1.

I've got the 17 for half a year and I really love it. There is only one issue that the water bottle pouch is not as durable as other parts of the bag it has already worn out. Is it possible to attach anything like a lens changer to replace it?

There's one thing you guys don't say about the bag. There is no protective bottom panel, and the bottom pouches sit on top of the bottom of the bag. Keep in mind there's no padding inside the sleeves. On the 15v2, if you place your camera on the bottom left wrap and you 70-200 lens on the right sleeve, and you happen to put your bag down on a hard surface. You can potentially damage your cam and lens due to a few impacts just because you placed your bag on the floor. I don't know about you guys, but gambling 6k worth of gear is not worth it to me. But there is a DIY solution. You can place your own bottom panel and put pads under both sleeves. I also would suggest setting a pad in the other sleeves where you place your lenses in. I also would recommend getting the 17v2 instead of the 15vs. The size difference when you see them side by side on top of a table is little and the on 17v2 your camera does not sit on the bottom of the bag. But you still have to worry about the bottom sleeves. Honestly, think tank. I do love the bag. I paid $280 for a 17v2. But for $280, I should not have to do a temporary solution to address an issue your product engineers should have resolved. It would be great if you solve the problem in v3. It's a great bag just with that one flaw.

Hi Alberto, in terms of this, V2 is the same as V1, which is a lightweight compressible solution. The front compresses with the zipper precisely because there is little foam, and the majority of photographers using this product would rather have it lightweight and compressible. That being said, your solution is a great solution to the problem if you believe you need more padding for protection. Hope that helps to understand our decision on this one.

Thanks for the fast response. I do understand the reasoning. But when you are at the store and you are stuffing the bag with your gear, and then you set it up right and hear a loud thump against the glass top. It raises a red flag. It's the only thing I thought would be an issue. If there would be a way to raise the pouch at least 1/3 of an inch, so they don't sit on top of the bottom, that may solve that. It's just a suggestion. Btw, I was shopping for a bag on Saturday because I needed a smaller bag for the airport but that still could fit all my gear. I do graphic design and photography so I know I am asking a lot of a bag. The bags I was looking at was the Tenba Shootout 32lt. The Bumblebee 230 and Vanguard a-rise 45. Your bag just happens to be on the counter. All the bags worked, but they all had something that I just couldn't live with. I happen to pick up your bag and started messing with it while I was waiting for the sales rep to suggest another option. It was the 15v2. Once I figured out the bag was expandable I asked the rep to tell me more about it, and I ended up getting the 17v2. The rep cut the tags, threw away my old bag, and I walked out the door heading to the airport. I am happy with the bag. I have a Tenba XL shootout bag at home too. The inside is falling apart, this bag is much better and is going to replace that bag also. You guys should consider making a roller bag version. You may even have one already. If you do let me know, I'll get that one too. Thanks again for the fast response and thank your team for making a great bag.

Sure thing, I understand how it can be off-putting. I guess it's a specific purpose backpack that you guys generally think does pretty well, but yes, can understand where you're coming from. Thanks again for letting us know your thoughts, Alberto! Cheers.
