Can you please explain what the difference is between carbon sarga and carbon innegra? I would like to try building something like this but the only carbon I can get here in 200g.m2 is kepper, square or aero.

carbon sarga is the clasic cosmetic carbon fiber and carbon/ innegra is the mix of both fabrics, innegra gives more impact support

hey! I whish you success with this project. you have awesome stuff so far. one thing, though: an all black board might look nice, but consider to make it (mainly) white. black surfaces in the sun tend to get really hot. damn, I sound like my dad! ; ) hahaa!

And that's why vent plug were invented, the so call hot you meant, creates off gassing. Gore-Tex vent plugs takes care of that.

with fibeglass over carbon can get better surface and no break the carbon fiber when sanding before final glass, the mix of both fibers work nice in my surfboard, fiberglass give me elasticity and carbon fiber is stronger. And the patches, carbon fiber / innegra give me impact resistance in high pressure areas.

That makes sense. Sanding through glass isn't as bad as sanding through the continuous strands of CF. Neat

Mask is different than use gloves, I always use mask and you´ll never watch a video on my channel without mask, ok? I have 200 videos you can check. I hope you like my projects, thanks

Good job! I want to ask you about minute 4:30 Is it possible to put those pieces of carbon innegra a layer before? What is the advantage to put them on top? think you can get a uniform surface if you put them a layer before. I have seen others doing the same, but i dont understand why. Thanks

the reason is that the innegra fabric is better for impact hits than carbon fiber layer with and must be placed first to absorb the impact of my feets
