+JoyDivision: Joy.....maybe I can answer your question. In '66 I was just going on 13......and in my first garage band "The Rejects" in Tucson. There were SO MANY GARAGE BANDS and most had guys in them that were 16, 17, 18 yrs old and older........high school age and college age. You gotta remember that during that period, the horrific Vietnam War was really going hot and heavy, and about to get worse. America was drafting young men that were doing poorly in school and so many of these garage bands had players get plucked from them and sent to "Nam.....often wounded or killed. If you weren't in college and getting good grades.....BOOM.....you were eligible, and often you got sent overseas. It sucked so badly, and tore our country apart. The 60's were such a volatile time, and Vietnam was much of the problem. Now, not just Vietnam, but natural things like band members getting married and their wives didn't want them in the rock bands anymore, they had babies coming soon, etc. etc. Guys with jobs got transferred out of state....a myriad of reasons. Hope that helps. jbeinarizona

It would be something if history were to repeat itself in the 2060's. If music were to sound like this once again. Would some president be assinated in 2063? Only if he/she were one of the Kennedy's great grandchildren. Would the word awesome be replaced once again with the expression of...Far-Out? It's hard to say even though we won't be around. But the great music is on these Y-Tube channels before we pass on.

@@richardortiz8704 I hear you, these guys should've been big. Perhaps they didn't receive the airplay they deserve for proper recognition. That's certainly downright sad. This group could've been there on top alongside the Doors. Perhaps this group could've posed a threat musically to them. We know they were denied their chances at the big time. The music industry engages in cut throat practices. Only channels here on Y-Tube such as these keep these songs and this music genre alive.
