Today's video covers the (near) complete comic history of the amazing Shapesmith, a Martian seperatist who came to earth in order to... well... become a hero. Yeah the governments would have had armies destroying the entire area and quarantine it for a few weeks to make sure everything is dead. If someone wandered and wasn't affected, they'd be killed and written down as an infected.

But isnt the reason that the Sequids took over in the first place because Shapesmith took the astronaut’s place to begin with? And also the fact that he lied to everyone in the Guardians? Yes, thats the main reason why the other Rus was never retrieved. It was his mission. To infiltrate's earth, and without anyone realizing Rus was left behind he was able to use all the sequids to conquer Mars. BUT... no... he faces no consequences, and honestly I don't remember him ever being punished in any way for it.

Well who knows, this show is a way for Robert Kirkman to write the invincible story how he would write it now after gaining experience and improving as a writer, so I’m not exactly sure how he feels about that specific part of the story but then again it’s a pretty important moment for the progression of the characters so I feel like it would be a bad decision to remove it from the story completely. We’ll just have to see how things pan out.
