As a consequence of the 2008 financial crisis, most of northern NY farmland up into the St Lawrence river is now being managed by Amish. This wasn't the case prior to 2008. The only Amish I knew were in western Maryland when I was working with Robert Schmidt developing software in 2006 (he being a translator of ancient astrological texts from Greek and Latin primarily). NYS literally killed the entire farming sector in this area (I live rural between Pulaski, NY and Mexico, NY). I was speaking to a realtor at the Pulaski post office in 2012 and he said that they set up a special deal for the Amish to come in and revitalize what the NY congress destroyed through malfeasance. I think probably most people from elsewhere don't really understand how much has changed outside of NY city especially north of Syracuse. Many of us no longer buy food from groceries stores in town, but from local Amish farms.

What an interesting conversation. I can't wait for all the corruption to come out, although it will be shocking. My mantra is 'observe but don't absorb' Someone said we have to be the change we want to see, and this is so true. I think we will eventually get rid of top down government and be much more community conscious.

You nailed it Kimerberly with the analogy of kids in a car with a drunk Mom. We've been behaving like children who never grow out of the need for parents! The fact that people think of government as an authority with the rights to rule over us is absurd! Humans need to grow up and claim spiritual adulthood!

Listening to Penny talked about big cities and skills needed I wanted to share that in 2011 when I lived in NYC I took an Urban Permaculture course resulting in a certification... all things are possible everywhere - we need to be creative to create the New Earth

Not all of us are at the same soul maturity, and although yes, we all had special qualities which gave us permission to incarnate now on Earth, but some of those special qualities were simply the ability to most quickly & efficiently learn needed lessons by being here now. Those who would be leaving before the 'end game' (so to speak), have accomplished whatever soul growth they came to experience. I believe only 20% or less will still be here in 10 years.

We grow a lot of fruits and vegetables in Washington state as well. I agree with you, too much corn and soybeans being grown in the midwest. That section of the country needs to be reverted back to prairie and allow our hoofstock to graze there.

Sumerian tablets were heavily studied by the Orientalists in the 18th and 19th Centuries, but they were mainly members of the educated classes of Europe. The Epic of Gilgamesh might now be read in a good Humanities curriculum. Now, knowledge of this material is spreading to a more general audience.

Start canning and drying your own food- it won’t go bad- if your fridge or freezer dies- turn your oven on low and start drying- cook and can the rest. Always have canning jars at the ready.

One of the factors causing everyone to no longer value stuff and to value authenticity etc. is related to Taurus (Venus rules Taurus) the the aspects of planet in Taurus over the last 3 years or so. There are so many astrological things supporting this journey for humanity. It's miraculous. Media: Yes, dumbing down. Also, daily efforts to divide us and to make us believe stereotypes based upon small maps. Elliott R.

Cities: architecture, art, diverse culturally, intellectually--I'd hope these would not be lost, but somehow transformed or subsumed into higher levels of consciousness. I think of the great Atlantean centers with their shining structures. Nature is wonderful, but I would not want a world without great cities.

During the Pandemic I owned a medical equipment business. I saw the refrigerated trucks at hospitals, and had funeral homes and nursing homes looking for body bags because they had run out of them. What in the world will we do with the numbers of predicted deceased people in this near future scenario?

Why does a funeral home need a body bag- don’t the deceased come in a body bag?

I found a couple of links when I googled though I’m presuming google is not the best place to go looking. There was a table with the population forecasts and it’s shocking, like Penny alluded to. The country I come from: Ireland is projected to have a 72% drop in 2025, just in second place to the UK with a projected drop of 77%…I don’t know why however and I don’t think it has anything to do with medical interventions in the last few years as countries who had very high uptake like Portugal have much lower projected population declines (in the 20% range) than countries with similar but lower uptake (basically all of Western Europe)…they are more in line with countries who had a very significantly lower uptake (Balkan states in Eastern Europe). I don’t know when the report was written - perhaps it was pre pandemic? I just quickly glanced through it after seeing this video out of pure curiosity and also at the population projection and both were different links. I didn’t find them together. Penny if you’re reading the comments could you please let us know more about the whys. Aside from the shock factor, I’m just confused. Thank you very much.
