I’ve been making pysanky my whole life, so now that I’m a felter I need to make a felt pysanky! Thank you for this video to inspire me. I just started a KZbin channel and I’ve been looking for inspiration!! :-)

I need tl make a caterpillar shape with ridges along it for xmas ...its a bossety worm im trying to make cos the one on sale is a fake...and im not sure how to do the initial shape...im thinking use prefelt and string to tie the crinkles in the worm...like tie down so thay each bit blobs out and has a line acirss it if that makes sense.

Hmm, I would probably go with all core wool myself. You could make the puffy bump parts first and then connect them all with a layer of core wool over top. Similarly, you could take these eggs and connect them together with a layer of core wool.

I don't understand. It feels like the first half of the video is missing. You're just taking pre felted shapes and neatening them?

Yes, I sell these "blanks" - they come already formed and pre felted as you say, but they need to be finished. If you don't want to take the time to start eggs from scratch, you can purchase the blanks and this video shows how to finish prepping them so they are ready to be decorated. I took this clip from the kit video that includes these blanks. I probably do need to give it an intro to explain it better but until then, I wanted people to know how to shape the blanks if they have already purchased them.
