Wow, great work, thanx a lot! I am not so good in counting odd meters. Now, when seeing the score it becomes really simple! The strength of Väsen and Michael League is the intertwinement of simple and complex structures. What a build-up and then again an anti climex, the dynamic goes like waves!

When I was trying to figure out what time this was in on my own, I found that in 9/4 8 sets of triplets + 1 quarter note gets you the full pattern in one time signature. But it is so annoying to try and read, your solution was much more elegant.

Very nice arrangement/cover of this piece, my most favorite from Vasen and ranks in as a top favorite across all musics! :-) Thanks for putting up the timed score as well.

And PS/FYI: I posted a link to your video on Rick Beato's recent video about how to count odd time meters: kzbin.info/www/bejne/oZfJn6qXfdmZsMk

I love this score, absolutely excellent work! I have one thought: in the F section, I think your written rhythms are offset by one eighth note early. For the first measure of 7/8, I feel like there should be a quarter note rest (counts1-2), and then the two eighth notes right after (counts 3-4). Then, the second measure of 7/8 has the next two eighth notes on the downbeat (counts 1 & 2). The 9/8 measure would be a quarter note rest (counts 1-2) followed by two eighth notes (counts 3 & 4) and two quarter notes (on counts 6 & 8). Basically, your rhythms are correct, just shifted over by one eighth note. The reason I feel like this is a better way to write it is because of the accents in the percussion. They land hard on a back beat which is count 5 of the 7/8 measure. They also emphasize the downbeat of the 9/8 measure with another back beat, to unify the "turn-around" measure. Lastly, you notated the correct rhythms on the "Perc. Break" after the F section, except again, I think you should shift the rhythms forward one eighth note. This would account for the 7/8, 7/8, 9/8 pattern to continue (so there would be no bar of 4/4). They play counts 2-7 on the two 7/8 bars, and counts 2-9 on the last 9/8 bar. Aside from that, I'm so grateful that you wrote out the music for this chart. I especially love the chorus at 2:27. And you absolutely nailed it! Thanks for this!
