I said no. wireframe is so wrong, cost uv map will be messed up, havenot talk about many things like how many tris in the object would be in waste. This is just simulation for good view, cannot be used in 3d model, don't even think about profession.

Yeah, I don't need to draft the complete geometry of a solid with one hand and in 3 steps. I need to define a ton of measurable geometric relations and constraints and then be able to go back, find the exact one and edit it in 1 or 2 steps. The old clunky solidworks menu at least does that consistently, newer cad programs don't seem to get that.

There are basically 3 ways to CAD modelling. 1) Parametric modelling 2) Direct modelling 3) synchronous modelling Parametric modelling software captures design intent with the help of parameters like dimensions and constraints. It's a history based modelling. But mind it a parametric software can still be history free. I dont want anyone to get confused with terms like parametric and history based modelling. Parametric means that the model is driven by parameters thats all. A model can still be parametric with no history tree like solidedge ( Synchronous Modelling). Example:- CATIA , Solidworks Direct modelling empowers you to define and capture geometry quickly without worrying much about features , constraints and design intent. It's more of like modelling with clay. It does not have the history tree. Example:- Shapr3D , Ansys Space claim Synchronous modelling makes use of integrating both the capabilities of Direct and parametric modelling softwares. It has direct modelling capabilities with precise parametric controls. It has a history free modelling approach. Example:- Fusion 360( Has an option to toggle between parametric and Direct modelling), SolidEdge..

Hi, to input the dimensions, simply tap on any face or edge with the pencil to select them, then pull up/push down to make the dimension label visible. Tap on the dimension label to input your dimension.
