It's because even if you think Shaq is better, it's close enough that no one should have an issue with someone thinking one is better than the other. It's more about personal preference at that point. Hakeem was more well rounded, but Shaq to me was so much better offensively (I don't care about bag, I care about efficiency, which Shaq kills Hakeem there) that it outweighs the other areas Hakeem was better in. Wilt I can even give a pass because of the gawdy numbers (I have Shaq higher, but I can at least understand why people have Wilt higher). Duncan is definitely more a power forward than a center. It's like calling AD a center lol. They're power forwards that play the 5 due to matchups. You ain't moving Kareem or Shaq to the 4 no matter who is alongside them. Then the Moses take was absurd. Great player, but c'mon. He was basically a smaller and less athletic Shaq. Shit, Shaq's bag was even deeper than Moses. And I say this as someone who thinks Moses gets slept on too much.

@YonkoBlackbeard he said he was happy with himself and was focusing on many things. Doesn't mean he was lazy, he just focused on more than just basketball. Could he be better if he was like Kobe or Jordan, yes, but he also has many millions more from nonbasketball than basketball. So not lazy

Nah. Hakeem has been overrated since he retired. Hakeem had a couple great playoff runs, but he wasn't universally feared for most of his career. In fact, at the time, people would have said Robinson and Ewing were just as good. And they were probably right. Hakeem way overrated in these convos.

@@pureshooter7477 "Tim Duncan is a Power Forward" The line between Power Forward and Center can be blurry. Especially considering Tim Duncan spent around half his career playing and starting at Center. He's mainly been tagged as a PF because he started his career next to a HoF Center in David Robinson and played in the post next to him. Duncan always had some range (not 3 point range, but those bank shots are legendary) which allowed him to play both the 4 and 5.
