As a PAO fan, Maccabi is such a great team, it's a lot better than many in the Final 8 such as Baskonia, Barcelona and even Monaco I would say. It's a shame that only one of this series will advance in the Final 4. Let the best team win in one of the best Game 5s in the history of Euroleague.

I think that either you dont know basketball or you have obsession . I believe that is way worse than Basconia and They are really lucky to finish 7th. Comparing Barcelona and Monaco with Macabi has no logical meaning is like i compare Panathinaikos with Lavrio. Barca beat them twice this year. With Monaco ended 1-1 but monaco beat them with 20 points difference. At the end if it was a better team they should have finished in the top 4 positions. You think that is a good team because it makes Pao life difficult. what we all saw was 2 teams without plan on the court but run and gun and whoever has the ball just shoot. Pao has Nunn who is excellent in this part thats why you win but you dont have a chance if you meet any Elite Euroleague Team with a normal Coach in the bench because Catas is sleeping Catas.

Im a Panathinaikos fan so obviously im biased but Nan's performance yesterday was one of the best i have ever seen from a single player... However, it's not certain that this nickname actually refers to anchovies, since it might come from the word gavrias (γαυριάς) which was used in horse racing. Anyway, depending on the context, it might be used to refer to Olympiacos while at the same you imply you are fan of another team, but it can be used even in conversations between Olympiacos fans. Long story short: As a word is not offensive, but if you choose to use it and at the same time you come up with controversial ideas, most probably you will get the Rytis Panathinaikos love treatment!

Gavros/Gavri in is how we Olympiacos fans are called in Greece... Gavros in Greek is the fish anchovy, because Piraeus is the main port of Greece and because we are millions like anchovies we are called Gavri many times when you ask an Olympiacos fan what team you support (this question in Greece can be translated "to what are you?") We will answer either with Gavros, Thrylos(legend) or Olympiacos (all the same thing)... Rytis is Γαύρος and one of us now I guess😂

Euroleague Play offs this year are incredibly interesting. We are really lucky to watch so many great games. I wish today also Monaco ties Fener and see 3 fifth games next week. As a PAO fan I'm really proud for my team, because I think we managed to survive against one of the hottest teams right now in EL. one comment about the 3 point shots. Olympiacos had very low percentages in all first 3 games. If Olympiacos has more than 37% in the 3points they will win comfortably the next match. However this is not the stake for Olympaicos. Olympiacos is known for defense and the fact that his poor defense on Barca perimeter shooting during certain time periods allowed Barca(along with the referee help of course) to win 2 matches. If Barca manages to shoot that well(44, 47% they in the 2 winning matches) then we will have a close game if Olympiacos on the other hand remains low. That is my estimation after studying the stats. What I am saying is that Barcelona relys on the 3point shooting, Olympiakos does not. Of course all the above is directly related to the toughness of these 2 teams and of course the refereeing being 50-50(have doubts about the second).

It should be noted that 99.99% of Panathinaikos fans, despite having our complaints about the refs G1/G3, have never taken anything from the effort Maccabi players have put in this series, they have been insane. If they had a home court this season, despite their already good win rate, I believe they would easily be a top4 team. I would put them above Barcelona, easily. I would argue however, that despite the amazing efforts of Kattash, Maccabi has a set way of playing and can't really do something different. For example, Panathinaikos can play in 70s and 90s (albeit harder) and take more approaches. Its also important to note that Maccabi's playstyle really, really makes this Panathinaikos struggle. Its not a good fit for us, like Olympiacos.

Nobody is talking about the refs simply because there were no one-sided mistakes in this game like there were in game 1 and in the last minute of game 3. If you can prove that what I'm saying is incorrect, feel free to prove it. Otherwise don't talk as If PAO fans are crazy or blind, because we're far from it... As for the predictions prior to the series, I also thought that this was going to a game 5, but lets not pretend like both of the games that Maccabi won were not a shot away from going to Panathinaikos' way. This series could've easily been a sweep so PAO fans who were saying that PAO is going to win 3-0 were not that far away from reality.

Iam Wade Baldwin IV father, I hate that people want to compare Mr. NUNN with my son. Both kids are great players, but Wade is injured and Nunn is healthy. If Wade is healthy come fourth quarter with Nunn having 4 fouls, Wade is fouling him out of the game using pick and roll and Wade attacking the rim every position, either Nunn fouls him or gives up a lay up or floaters by Wade. Sloughs is not covering Brown or my son, pick your poison people. Game 1 Wade scored 7 points in a row early in the fourth quarter before he hurt is hamstring. Wade has been dominate all season long in the 4th quarter and now with Lorenzo healthy its a totally different game for the Greek team defensively. Great Win by Pano see u guys in game 5.

Hey guys one remark about Miloutinof. You disregarded the injury factor and and the small playing time he has had since his recovery. The fact that Wright didn't play I think is part of his good performance and also coaches B approach to give Miloutinof some more time on the court since the game was really over. It was really a good thing because Miloutinof along with the whole team of Olympiacos gained big time confidence. Olympiacos although they won one game and they deserved to win another one during the series, they haven't really played a good match up until yesterday.

@@georgemarco11 Olympiacos is not a new team not in terms of their core either as a brand. They are not also hungry for humiliating wins they are hungry for winning the cup. What you said is default for Olympiacos, they can’t get carried away by such dominating performances. This performance also took place during the 4th match not during the 3rd during which your argument would have chances to stand. On the other hand only Barca can get affected by this game in the psychological factor. I am not saying they will. So I am saying it again if Olympiacos has a good offensive game reaching his average scoring in away matches they will clearly win the 5th match and I explained why in my post. The series now should have been 3-1 with mediocre performance from Olympiacos. Barcelona has reached their limits in offensive ratings during this series but I really doubt they will in the 5th match and this is why I am optimistic. It will be close game and I think the refs have to be different this time and will whistle 50-50 or at least 55-45 and this stands because they didn’t have a chance in the previous match to favor Olympiacos due to the dominating performance(I would say they they even whistled 45-55 ifavoring the away team again)

While I agree that Olympiacos has a big chance of winning game 5 in Catalonia, I do not think it will be an easy game. I felt that Barcelona gave up on game 4 so easy, in order to save strength for game 5. I believe they felt that going for the overkill would have taken too much of a toll on their players. It will be a very strong game in my opinion. As for the PAO-MTA game , it will be a tight game as well. The catalysts for PAO is always Sloukas and Nunn performance. And unfortunately, after a huge performance, they both seem to slow down. Nunn was on a slump on games 1-3 and did not feel like himself (maybe it was his hair...). On game 4 we saw Nunn finding himself again. MTA and coach Katash have a very good read on PAO's ball passing and thats why you see so many turnovers from steal by PAO. But with Sloukas and Nunn on a good day, when they are not afraid to go all the way in on 1v1's or to score 3 pointers, this advantage goes away and PAO always gets the W. Another mention for PAO is Kalaitzakis-Antetokoumpo. They are young and prone on mistakes, but every time MTA goes on a spree, they come in and slow the tempo since their energy in defence is insane. Once the tempo is down, PAO resumes his game and catches up. As a PAO fan myself I hope PAO wins but I expect a tight game, especially since both Nunn and Sloukas overperformed and will be tired.
