Greg !! You have officially inspired me to pursue my true passion involving water features, ponds…landscaping and turn it into a career. In Torrance CA there is Office/restaurant Called Skypark, and there are very large waterfalls, steams and ponds. I watched a video of you and a contractor visited here in California and it made me so happy because that’s where I first realized this is so beautiful( I first seen this office center when I was 10 years old ) and everytime I go to the Olive Garden I go for a walk to see the different waterfalls and streams. If anyone is in the Torrance CA area I highly recommend you go check it out ❤❤

Good morning Greg hope your having an amazing day omg I rember watching both builds and I was completely blown away with the first waterfalls and smaller pond it was spectacular and the engraved super s for shack was truly so amazing and definitely a statement pice for him and what a way to honor him. You all did such a fantastic job on both of the builds and of course adding the putting greens around the second one was again another touch of shack put into it. Its an absolutely massive project and all the guys worked so hard on this project... absolutely fantastic job Greg and team.... Greg I had a question for you do you guys ever get bach any hurns when homeowners decide to change them or replace them with bigger ones do you guys take the old ones back to the shop. Or do you throw them out? If you have any secondhand one could I buy it from you? Cuz I truly want one but am unable to get enough money to buy one new.. if you do would you sell it to me please and thank you... it would mean the world to me I truly love them and really would love to get on and get it installed that when I have my horrible days after my cancer treatments or my 18 injections in the spine every Tuesday it would be a dream come true to just be able to go outside and enjoy its beauty... If you don't thats okay I understand.. Thanks Greg for this awsome update video on shacks house it was truly spectacular... Have a fantastic weekend Greg with your beautiful family and wife. See you next video like always. Blessings to you and the fam.

A question about a wetland filter. I have no doubts it works great given all the surface area and filtration it's doing. In our backyard pond, we have a skimmer box. What's nice is that I can pull out the net, spray out the muck and put it back in when when it's clogged. But the wetland filter, which replaces a skimmer box, all that muck will just get sucked on top of the bed of rocks in the wetland. How do you clean that stuff out easily? I don't see how it's possible to do that well unless you're going to lay matala mats over the bed of rocks to pick up & spray out (very similar like one does with a net in a skimmer box). And that would work I suppose. But black matala mats laying over your wetland filter area doesn't exactly look all that natural either. Maybe the idea of the wetland filter is more function over being aesthetically pleasing. IDK. thanks to any insight you guys might have.

You need to get information on bog filter types.
@TheStump295 ай бұрын
The wetland filter isn’t a replacement for a skimmer. Water flows out of the wetland not into It. To clean It out, it’s designed with a “snorkel” where a sump pump can pump out the sediment that’s accumulated at the bottom.

It is good but I always felt like Shaq wanted a bama bass style pond with loads of fish. His landscape with the water table just never allowed for that at that property. That being said the new pond is very nice and one could even swim in it. The original pond personally I think now it looks like it needs redoing in comparison. Id maybe do a giant waterfall like 4 foot and a retaining wall with that slope and a huge deep pond with a fish cave and the fire pit etc. 😁

What I have never understood is why do rich people get all the free stuff for companies to advertise when it would work just as well for companies to do their advertising for free for people who would never be able to afford something like this. It would be better advertising for the company doing it that way rather than giving massive service for free to those who can afford it. Things are a$$ backwards in this world.

Placing large fish in a tiny pond such as this is a disgrace and shows just how little people think or care about sentient Beings such as fish.
@joecamerer28655 ай бұрын
Sorry, but this whole story just makes me angry. I know you did this for advertising and hopefully you are getting your moneys worth out of it. Still, the fact that you built such an amazing first pond for him, and then for him to go hire some half azzed contractor to build that junky second pond. Why didn't he come back to you and pay you to build the second one properly. I just can't comprehend the disrespect shown to all the people that worked so hard on the first pond by paying someone else to build the second one. It's not like he couldn't afford to get it done right.
