Shaq is truly one of the most amazing kind people, he is the example of you use your fame and influence that comes with it. A lot of people are prolly more focused on the kid getting what he desperately needs and that's a great thing! But think of the relief and way Shaq changed that moms life, possibly forever. Each pair of those shoes is basically a utility bill, food for 2 weeks, most of a car payment, chunk of rent/mortgage, etc. The stress he uplifted on that mother who is probably already stressed to work so hard for herself and her son. I guarantee that Shaq changed her life in a way we will probably never know. God bless him and the mother and son! Even if the kid doesn't play professional sports I wish him the best of luck in any endeavor he peruses in life.

My brother wore a very large size very young too( still does). He was given 14 pairs of size 14 shoes when he was 14. The man who gave him the shoes also gave him a bunch of clothes that fit my big brother for many years.
