I Appreciate all of the hard work that you put into providing us with an alternative to Tanning in the Sun,or using a Tanning Bed.. I used to use a Tanning bed and tan 1 time in the early morning and 1 time in the evening and got the results I wanted but I Stopped doing that when a Loved 1 was Diagnosed with Melanoma Cancer 😢 It's been about 5 years ago since his Passing so I've made my decision to never go back to using a tanning bed....Life is much too Precious for that..Btw you look Amazing as Always 🙂

So wish I could tan but everything I tried looked orange or streaky and the scent made me crazy. I also shave everyday and found that removed the self tanner.You look so healthy and like you came back from a tropical vacation

You have some awesome tips for sunless tanning! My favorite is using the makeup brush to add tanner to my hands! That is a great idea! I like using Jergens Natural Glow Sunless Tanning Lotion. I have fair skin so I like a lighter, warm tan. I do love the Ulta self tanning drops for the face! I love how it mixes with my moisturizer. I have dry skin so moisturizing is a must for me. Thanks for the great tips. I've tried the Jergans and quite liked it. Lately I've been using Fake Bake and really love it. It dries instantly and I've never had it come off on bedding or clothes. There is very little odor either. It lasts for 5 days.

Oh I didn’t even realize May was Melanoma Awareness month! I did tanning beds and tanned in the sun WAY to much in my teens and twenties. Then when my dermatologist starting cutting things out of my skin, I became a firm believer in tan in a can too! Great idea! I already tried the tip with the handwashing after a certain amount of time... worked great! Have you ever tried to just put on the second layer of tanner on top of the first one after a few hours instead of washing it off and apply the second layer then? I am curious if it would make a difference! Love your hair so much! It suits you just perfectly!!

I've not ever applied a second layer before washing off the first....because the first layer still feels a bit tacky, I've always thought it might disturb that layer and not apply as evenly in a second coat. But you could always give it a try on an area that no one will see and find out if it works🤗

Awww, thank you🥰 Those age spots are tricky....I have a few too and I’d say between my two favorites, the Jergens might adhere slightly less. What I’ve found helpful is to take a Q-tip with a little witch hazel and rub that on the age spots before the sunless tanner dries.

Great tips! How do you get the back of your shoulders, etc. You’re too young, but how would you handle age spots on legs and arms that pick up the color more darkly? I’ve tried going back over them with a Q-tip trying to remove product.

Usually, I can reach pretty far with the tanning mitt to cover my shoulder area. However, if I need to get my back, there’s something called a “back buddy” that works great! Tanceuticals used to sell one but there are other brands on Amazon. I do have a few age spots that grab that tan as well! Recently, I’ve used a Q-tip with a little witch hazel to remove the tanner before it dries on those spots and that seems to work a little better😘

Ok so I might need to actually do some of these tips. I would consider myself a lazy self tanner lol. I have been using jergens firming lotion tanner? Something like that. But I’ve never used a mitt to apply and I’ve really never tried exfoliating with any products. SO I’m going to give this a whirl. Wish me luck!!

Great question! I have found sunless tanners to have a pretty long shelf life, as long as their packaging doesn’t get damaged. I always give them a good sniff to make sure they smell right first😘 There are expirations for makeup but personally, I rely more on the smell and texture of the product than just a set number of months. I’m so happy you found my channel and are enjoying my videos!💖

Have you tried Fake Bake sunless tanning? It’s one of my favorites..almost an instant tan. Also I like L’Oreal Sublime Bronze self tanner. Thanks so much for a wonderful video!

I use Tan Physics and have for the past few years. Itś pricie, but it is NOT sticky and dries quickly. I CANNOT stand Sticky!! To each his own, but I can do it. It only comes in the one color, but the color I get is good. It has a slight indicator in it for the application. I´ve never had a problem with streaking using Tan Physics.

How do you adjust foundation colors with tanning? Lighter? Darker?

Very good question!! For years, I’ve used the NYX Pro foundation mixers to lighten or darken foundations. I had one in white and one in olive and they just altered the color but didn’t change the performance or pigmentation of the foundation. However, NYX seems to have phased them out and I can only see the olive shade on their website😳 But e.l.f. makes something similar (called Mix to Match Foundation Shade Adjuster) and so does LA Girl (called Pro Matte Mixing Pigment).

Glad you enjoyed the brush application tip! Funny thing is years ago, BareMinerals sold their faux tan body lotion with a large dense brush and that’s how they recommended applying it. It does work but takes longer to apply all over the body....also was a bit difficult to blend in certain areas with my non-dominant hand😂😘 Thank you for your sweet compliments! Hmmm....have you tried the Tarte Better Bod? It’s waterproof and I feel like it’s a pretty nice natural looking color. It just comes in one shade. However Tarte also recently came out with Shape Tape Waterproof Body makeup that comes in 8 shades. I haven’t tried it yet but seems to have some good reviews😘
