Guys, just do not fall for Data Science unless you are not good at coding. Everyone promise to teach coding in there course to a non coding student. But the reality is they can't help you in building logics.. Suppose I teach you ABCD.. and then ask you to write essay. Applied ai is really good but only if you know how to code. Else your time and money will be wasted. This girl had non coding jobs but remember she is CS graduate so logic building is what she can learning easily.

We have covered the key DSA as part of the course wherever we needed them. We cover time and space complexity, key DS like binary trees, graphs and dictionaries. We also cover dynamic programming in our course videos, live sessions and assignments. At the end of our course, you will have the skills to crack DSA rounds for Data scientist roles. For some students, based on their request, we share additional DSA practice problems.

Do well in your coursework related to ML courses. It is also important to be good at DS and Algo as most companies that come to IITs for placements will have 1-2 rounds of that also. Make sure to do multiple projects in your MTech in the first year itself to build a good portfolio of projects. We have many students from IITs and IISc who join our course to learn the applied aspects of ML and to build good portfolios which are often not covered well in university courses.

Most companies that we have worked with struggle to fill data science roles as they don’t find good candidates. If you have the right skills, there is no dearth of roles in most job roles, including data science.

Yes, some startups let you intern with them and work for 20 hours a week especially during the weekend. This is not very common, but possible.

Yes, you will have to build on top of your prior experience and leverage your new skills in machine learning. Lot of service-based companies and product start-ups would pay very handsomely for somebody with your experience and who has good machine learning skills. Surely, the expectations in terms of depth and technical maturity from someone with your experience would be more. But we cover everything needed to build that depth and rigour in our course.
