The AppliedAICourse attempts to teach students/course-participants some of the core ideas in machine learning, data-science and AI that would help the participants go from a real world business problem to a first cut, working and deployable AI solution to the problem. It's not at all encouraging to see Mech grads transition into domains not remotely related with Mech Engg. However, this has nothing to do with Rishabh's success. It's most probably a result of either his interest or coercion. Full credit to him for his efforts and success, but this counterintuitively, shows the plight of core Engg. students in India.

Please check out the free videos on our website and see if you’re able to follow through the programming and mathematical concepts. Since you already have a career gap, it may be better for you to get into a job first and then parallelly pursue the course to avoid increasing your career gap further.

The course content itself is approximately around 180 hours. There are lot of optional videos which you can go through if time permits. For someone pursuing PhD, they need to have a very strong foundational and applied understanding of each of the concepts in data science and machine learning. That is covered very thoroughly from first principles and the very basics in the course.
