@@issa9920 the thing is it was banned simply because a lot of athletes were using it and WADA didn’t like that it wasn’t FDA approved. Hate to break it to you but a lot of tennis players were using it Sharapova just didn’t get the memo. Also it’s a supposed PED not steroid so it wouldn’t have had any effect in the match. It apparently helps in recovery after the matches but they still have yet to prove it.

Lmao its makes me laugh uncontrollably at how you idiots point right to her doping situation without knowing the facts of it all! She was taking Meldonium during this time and obviously was getting tested or she wouldn't be able to play in these top level tournaments , so with that being said all of her matches leading up to her 2016 suspension were played fair and clean! Not to mention if you actually look into the usage and purpose of Meldonium instead of just running your mouth than you'd know that the drug has no type of physical effects what so ever! It purpose is to make sure your EKG'S ( Heart pattern ) are in sync with your body. That's why she was taking them. And that also like unlike many other drug suspensions in the past in there sport of tennis they ( ITF ) allowed her to return to the court and keep all of her slams! Learn your facts before you run your mouth💯.
