On that day, the company’s total equity is Rs. 18,000,000. The company decided to offer the right shares to its existing shareholders. For that purpose, one right has been decided to issue at a premium of Rs. 10 each for every ten shares held. Currently, the share of Premier Limited is trading at Rs. 140 each. The authorized capital of the company is divided into 500,000 ordinary shares of Rs. 100 each. Requirement: Find the value of the right. (1 Point) Pass the journal entries for issuance of right shares. (2 Points) What will be the effect of this right issue on the company’s equity (1 Point)
